Getting started
Open the Spider Noir Game homepage and click Play Free Now. The game loads in your browser — no download, no installer, no account. Your first run starts in the prologue district with a short tutorial scene.
The swing
You move through the city by web-line. Aim with the mouse or your finger, click or tap to anchor, then click or tap again to release. The trick is to release at the top of the arc, not the bottom — that way you keep your speed and you can chain swings together across wide streets.
If you are on a phone, your thumb does all three jobs: aim, anchor, release. A quick rule: high release, low anchor.
Investigating a scene
When you reach a crime scene, the game pauses the swing and gives you the case file. Walk to each marker, look at the scene, and pick the right clue. The journal records everything you find and will offer cross-references once you have enough evidence.
Staying alive
The city is dangerous in two ways: patrol cars on the ground and searchlights on the rooftops. A missed swing drops you, and a lit rooftop means an enemy can see you. Use cover, time your swings to the rhythm of the patrol, and never stop moving.
Closing a case
Once you have three matching pieces of evidence, the journal unlocks the “Close Case” action. Pick the conclusion you think is right — your choice changes how the next chapter opens, not whether the game continues. Spider Noir Game is one long case, not a chain of short levels.
